Work From Home Business Advice

Work From Home Business Advice: Creating Sales Pages
- by Bill Brine-Lead Generation Master

At some point in your work from home business career, you will no doubt have to create a web page or sales letter to sell your products or services.

Since we are all not born salespeople, it can be hard to get it just right. You should study successful sales pages to get some tips from them.

Here are 9 strategies that I have come across when perusing sales pages:

1. Many advertisers use a hand written letter as part of the sales page instead of text. Write the ad on a piece of paper, scan it and publish the ad on your web page. A personal touch will always increase your sales.

2. Show before and after photos for your products on your web page copy. Show the problem picture and then beside it, show the picture of the resolution to the problem when they use your product.

3. Do you have some famous or respected people who have purchased your product? Publish that list on your sales page. People will think that if these people bought from you, they should also trust your work from home business and purchase your products. Make sure to get their permission first.

4. Include an article or review that has been written about you or your work from home business within your sales page. This will show people that your work from home business is respected and will increase your credibility.

5. Do you offer free bonuses on your sales page? Then list the dollar value beside each bonus. People will feel they're getting a good deal and it will increase the value of your product.

6. Include a good professional picture of yourself on your sales page. This will show people that you're not hiding behind your sales page and will increase their trust. Also, include your work from home business contact information below the picture and a brief statement or quote.

7. Make a commitment to donate a certain percentage of the product purchase price to a specific charity, and tell your potential customers about it. This will show them you really care. They may just buy your product to donate to the charity.

8. Ask your potential customers plenty of yes and no questions in your sales page. The questions should remind them of their problem and make them think about what will happen if they don't purchase your product.

9. Tell your potential customers they will receive a free prize if they find the five words in your sales page that are misspelled or spelled backwards. The longer you can keep someone reading your copy, the greater chance of them purchasing.

Selling is a fact of life in a work from home business. No sales, no profits! Follow some or all of these strategies when designing a sales page and your work from home business will thrive.
